JOBS Trust, 2005 Bangladesh JOBS Trust Bangladesh was founded in 2005. Building on eight years of success as the USAID-funded Job Opportunities and Business Support (JOBS) Project, the Trust continues to operate as an integrated private sector development program, providing support to Bangladeshi enterprises with the aim of increasing employment opportunities, especially for some of the most marginalized populations in Bangladesh including injecting drug users, adolescent girls, and char (island) dwellers. JOBS Trust works to accomplish this goal through its sector development and business linkage initiatives, capacity development training, and by creating an enabling environment.
JOBS-ICT Private Limited (JIPL), 2006 Bangladesh Growth and competition in today's ICT markets have created a shortage of qualified ICT resources worldwide. The ICT sector and increased applications demand ever growing numbers of specialists in all fields. JOBS-ICT connects companies seeking skilled manpower and individuals looking for new challenges. In order to build up the professionalism of the ICT workforce in Bangladesh, JOBS-ICT works in collaboration with universities to improve the soft skills of graduates through conducting training courses and workshops. JOBS International, 2007 USA JOBS International was established in Washington DC in 2006 to provide both administrative and technical support to the growing number of private sector development and employment generation activities originating from the successful, Bangladesh-based, JOBS Project. JOBS International enables organizations around the world to benefit from the experience and expertise gathered over nine years of operations in Bangladesh. With proficiency at every level of the development process, from grass roots interface with "end-users" to advisory input at the highest levels of government, JOBS International spans the spectrum of development interventions.
JOBS-TAPS, 2008 Pakistan JOBS-TAPS was established to build on the lessons learned and replicate the JIPL model in Pakistan with a focus on international placements.
MSS, 2008 Pakistan MSS was established as a web development business based in Pakistan. A portion of profits will be reinvested into JOBS-TAPS.
