JOBS History
– JOBS-IRIS is established in partnership with the University of Maryland as a USAID funded project.
– USAID extends JOBS for another 3 years due to its significant impacts .
– Following the end of USAID funding, JOBS Trust is established as a local multidonor funded entity.
– JIPL is established as a for profit enterprise aimed at developing the ICT workforce in Bangladesh.
– JOBS International is established to disseminate the experience and lessons learned in Bangladesh worldwide.
– JOBS-TAPS is established to build on the lessons learned and replicate the JIPL model in Pakistan with a focus on international placements.
– MSS is established as a web development business based in Pakistan. A portion of profits will be reinvested into JOBS-TAPS.
